Prothonotary Warbler

I first caught sight of these two migrant songbirds in Galveston a year ago almost to the day. These were at Corp Woods a few days ago. The prothonotary gets its name from the bright yellow robes traditionally worn by clerks in the Roman Catholic church (protonotaries apostolic). The gnatcatcher is an easy ID with that blue-gray color and crisp, white eye-ring.
